Inner Harmony 101: Building Emotional Resilience

8 Week Series

Welcome to Inner Harmony 101, a program designed to equip you with emotional intelligence and practical skills for healthier relationships. Our eight weeks together will focus on self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, and social management.

What is group counselling?

This is a type of therapy where people come together in a supportive and confidential group setting to discuss their experiences, challenges, and goals under the guidance of a trained therapist. It provides you with the chance to connect with others who are facing similar issues. You can share and listen to each other’s experiences to gain valuable insights, support, and encouragement while working towards your own growth.

What Can I Expect to Learn and Talk About?

Session 1-2Self-Awareness
Explore emotional intelligence, values-based decision-making, and cognitive patterns. Identify personal emotional strengths and weaknesses while learning about Cognitive Behavioural Therapy techniques, such as identifying thought distortions.

Session 3-4Self-Management
Understand stress responses, mindfulness, and motivation. Learn to build balanced thoughts, cultivate mindfulness practices, and develop habits that support emotional well-being.

Session 5-6Social Awareness
Develop empathy, emotional flexibility, and perspective-taking skills. Engage in exercises and discussions to deepen understanding of others’ emotions and experiences.

Session 7-8Social Management (Relationship Building)
Enhance communication skills through non-verbal and verbal exercises. Explore active listening and learn to navigate relationships with empathy and understanding.

This program may be eligible for coverage under certain health benefit plans.
